There are miles of trails to explore in Mortimer Forest, just across the road from our farms entrance. Parking is plentiful and free, and the pine forests are beautiful in Summer.

The majestic Titterstone Clee Hill. Rising 533m above South Shropshire, it has many disused quaries and a bronze age fort on top. Just visible is the top of the radar station used for air traffic control, nicknamed 'The Golf Ball' due to its resemblance to a teed-up golf ball.

Its bigger sister Brown Clee, the highest hill in Shropshire at 540m above sea level. An area of outstanding natural beauty, the Clee Hills are the perfect place to go walking or mountain biking.

The trail leading to the old deer watching tower on High Vinalls. High Vinalls is a patch of moorland on top of Mortimer Forest, and is about 15 minutes walk from the Campsite. Offering panoramic views of the Black Mountains to the South-West, the Clee Hills to the East, the Long Mynd to the North and the Wigmore and Lentwardine valley to the South. Well worth a short walk to experience the fantastic views on a summer evening.
